I can use myself as the example for this entire email because I’ve literally made almost every version of these mistake.
First self-promo: Faceless Million (& The Muslim Operator) is $39 until tomorrow at 11:59 p.m. PST. Then it goes to $49. GET FACELESS MILLION HERE.
When I first started posting online, I wasn’t even trying to make money. I was just posting for fun, I actually had fun doing it. Then I started getting a lot of attention and eventually I was like.. wait. I could probably make a lot of money from all of this. Idk how but I know I can.
And I did, bi fadlillah.
I’ve watched the online landscape change over and over again. If you go to my Instagram and click About This Account, it says I joined in 2015, and even that wasn’t really the beginning. I was posting before that on Tumblr.
One thing I’ve learned from being online that long is that the opportunities keep changing. The platforms change. What people buy changes. The way people buy changes. The formats change. Of course, AI changed things again.
Which is why there is so much value in learning from people who have actually been inside the landscape for a while. You start to see the patterns.
So why do some faceless pages get millions of views and still make no money?
1. You literally have nothing to sell.
This sounds obvious but if you don’t have a product, you cannot make a sale.
At one point I had around 700,000 followers and didn’t really have a product of my own. I had products from another brand, but nothing connected directly to why people were following me. So I had 700,000 people.. and nothing obvious to sell them. What did I do?
I started paying attention to my DMs & comments.
People were literally asking:
“How do you take pictures?”
“How do you edit your videos?”
“How do you record your voiceovers?”
“How did you grow your Instagram?”
“How did you do this without showing your face?”
And eventually I was like:
okay fine. I’ll make something about that.
That is basically how I got pushed into teaching content creation. I didn’t sit down years earlier and decide this was going to be my niche. People kept telling me what they wanted from me.
Nowadays you can skip a lot of that wandering around. Read this letter if you don’t know and keep reading the 3 letters after that.
Anyway I’ve seen the exact same thing happen with one of our brands. At one point, one of our pages was getting millions and millions of organic views. We were attracting parents and to-be parents, but we didn’t really have a product specifically for parents. So we had all this attention coming in.. but not much for that exact person to buy.
Once we started creating products for that audience, it became a completely different situation.
Attention is useful.
But يعني attention with nowhere to go is just attention
2. You have a product but nobody knows you sell it.
I did this too for a long time.
With Eternah, there was a period where I basically refused to market my books because I didn’t want to be annoying or weird. So I would post infographics, templates, quotes, useful Islamic content.. and then just kind of hope someone magically clicked the link in my bio and bought something lol.
Then whenever I actually marketed the product.. it sold.
Well what’d ya know.
I’d make money, I’d be happy. Then I’d stop marketing. sales would drop, and I’d sit there wondering why I wasn’t making money anymore.
It sounds ridiculous when I write it out but when you’re inside the business, these things are not always as obvious as they seem afterward.
You have to market. Repeatedly.
People buy through different channels: Stories, email, feed posts, reels. CTAs, retargeting. Different people need different amounts of exposure before they buy.
If your short-form content dies after a few days, you need another creative coming behind it. If you have no email list, build one. If you sell a physical product and you post about it once every two weeks, start posting more. Sales happen through Stories too, so use your Stories. If you make a post and never tell people what to do next, add the CTA.
You need marketing working for you 24/7.
3. Your content attracts viewers, not buyers.
This one took me a while too. I got very good at understanding what could go viral. After you post for years, you start developing an eye for it.
But viral content and buyer content are not always the same thing.
For example, I could post something very broad like:
“pray Tahajjud and tell no one.”
That could get a ton of Muslim attention. (and it did).
But are those necessarily the people most likely to buy a product about building a faceless business?
Prolly. Prolly not.
Now compare that with: habits of rich and successful Muslims
That moves a little closer to the person I want.
Then: how to make money using social media
Closer.
Then: how to build a faceless page that makes $313/day
Now the person who stops is much more likely to care about the solution I sell.
The more specific the problem, the more qualified the attention. You still want reach but you also need content that naturally attracts the person who would actually buy from you.
4. You haven’t changed your own belief system yet.
This is the least obvious one.
You can know all the tactics and still have a mental ceiling. I’ve had this at multiple stages.
There was a point where making $10,000 a month felt huge to me. Then eventually I crossed it enough times that my brain basically went: oh. I can do this.
Then there was another ceiling.
For a while, I struggled to get much past around $30,000 a month. I even had it written in my insta bio lol. Cringe. Looking back, part of it was that I didn’t really see myself as someone who made significantly more than that.
So I had to keep changing what felt normal to me. I read. I studied. I surrounded myself with people making significantly more money than I was. I got into rooms where someone could casually say: “Yeah, we do a $1M/month.”
And instead of that number feeling like something impossible, eventually it starts becoming:
oh. people actually do this.
And then: why not me?
For me, the jumps to $10k, $50k and $100k/months each required a different version of that belief shift. Your numbers might be completely different. Maybe your first breakthrough is making your first $100 online. Then $1k. Then $10k.
That first sale matters because now your brain has proof: someone gave me money for something I created.
Then you do it again. And again. And again. And again.
Recently someone in The Muslim Creative Inner Circle made their first ever sale from a digital product.

Allahumma barik.
The first sale changes the question from:
“Can I do this?”
to:
“How do I do more of this?”
And as a Muslim, this is also where The Muslim Operator comes into the picture for me.
I don’t believe in pretending you can manifest whatever number you want into existence. Rizq is from Allah.
But your beliefs still affect what actions you take. What risks you take. What rooms you enter. What people you surround yourself with. How long can you persist? How seriously you treat the opportunity in front of you. Whether you even allow yourself to aim higher.
You take the means. You make du’a. You work. You learn. You put yourself around people who expand what you can see. And you trust Allah with the result.
That is why I ended up creating both sides of this.
Faceless Million is the practical side: how to build the page, create the content, attract the buyer, create the offer, market it, and actually turn attention into money.
And The Muslim Operator is the person behind all of that: your discipline, your beliefs, your relationship with rizq, your habits, your health, your salah, and your ability to actually hold on to what you are asking for without the business consuming you.
Because you can have the best strategy in the world and still be the bottleneck and you can have all the high intentions in the world and still need an actual strategy.
Faceless Million is $39 until tomorrow at 11:59 PM. Then it goes to $49.
If you already bought Faceless Million, The Muslim Operator is automatically included in your bundle. It's coming to you on September 8th 11:59p.m. PST. You don't need to do anything.
P.S. If you already have an audience but you’re not making money from it, ask yourself these four things tonight:
(1) Do I actually have something to sell?
(2) Do people know I sell it?
(3) Does my content attract the person who would buy it?
(4) And do I actually believe I can build this to the level I say I want?
Tomorrow I want to talk about the belief ceiling around how much money you think you can make.
