Yesterday I showed you how I would create a $27 product in one day which is literally what I did with The Faceless Million (P.S. today is the last day to grab it at $27 before price raises to $49). Click here if you wanna grab it on the pre-sale.
So now let’s say you actually made the thing.
You have the PDF, the Stan Store page is live, the checkout works, and then you realize the annoying part:
Nobody knows you exist lol. Womp. Womp.
You got no email list, no social media audience, no personal brand. I mean maybe your account has 443 followers and half of them are cousins and high school friends.
How do you get the first 10 sales?
I’ve actually done this before.
When I started selling Eternah planners around 2020, I did not have some huge audience or established brand I could launch to. I literally went into Facebook groups where the people I wanted to reach were already hanging out and posted there. In this case it was a group of 25,000 Muslims in New York. I did the same thing on Reddit.

And I made over $2,000 just from doing that (plus sold out). Alhamdulillah.
So if I were starting from literally zero again, this is how I would think about it:
1) Find where your customer already hangs out.
This is the first thing people with no audience need to understand:
You don’t need to own the audience yet.
You can start by going where an audience already exists.
If I made a Qur’an memorization planner, I would look for communities where Muslims are already talking about memorizing Qur’an.
If I made an interview kit for new graduates, I would look for communities where students are already asking questions about interviews and job hunting.
If I made a postpartum meal-prep guide, I would look for communities where new mothers are already talking about food, weight loss, grocery planning and not having enough time.
That could be:
Facebook groups
Reddit communities
Discord servers
WhatsApp communities
Threads or X conversations
LinkedIn communities/posts
Forums in your niche
Comments under creators who already talk about the problem
This is basically what I did with Eternah.
I didn’t sit around waiting for 10,000 people to follow an Eternah Instagram account before I tried to sell anything. We had less than 500 followers when I launched.
I found Muslims who were already interested in the type of planner I had made, went into the communities where they already were, and put the product in front of them.
That generated over $2,000 for me without needing some big personal brand behind it.
The audience already existed.
I just did not own it yet.
That distinction matters.
2) Do not walk into a community and immediately start spamming your link.
There is an art to this because some of you are going to read the first section and go into 37 Facebook groups posting:
BUY MY EBOOK $27 LINK IN BIO!!!!!!!!
Please do not do that..
First, pay attention to the group.
What are people asking?
What are they complaining about?
What posts get engagement?
What language are they using to describe the problem?
If somebody is asking a question that your product genuinely solves, answer the question properly.
Give them something useful.
Then, if the community allows promotion and it actually makes sense, you can mention the thing you created.
For example, if somebody says:
“I have an interview next week and I have no idea how to prepare for behavioral questions.”
You could answer them with your experience and then say: “By the way I actually put all of my interview-prep scripts and worksheets into a little workbook because I kept seeing people ask this. If you want it, here’s the link.”
Now the product is connected to a problem they already told you they have.
You are not trying to convince a random person that they suddenly need an interview product.
You found someone already raising their hand saying:
I have this problem.
That is a completely different type of selling.
3) I would try to get the first few sales manually.
I know everyone wants passive income.
Eventually.
But if you have zero audience, I would not be sitting there wondering how to automate everything before a single human being has even bought the product.
I would manually try to get the first few people.
I would spend time:
Answering relevant questions in communities
Posting helpful content inside groups that allow it
Joining conversations about the problem
Messaging people who specifically ask me for the resource
Testing different ways of explaining the offer
Paying attention to what makes people click and what makes them ignore it
You learn SO much from doing this manually.
Someone might tell you: “I like this but I wish it had X.”
Someone else might ask: “Is this for complete beginners?”
Someone else might say: “I would buy this if it included a template.”
Now you know what version 2 needs. You also know what your sales page is missing. And you know what your next content should talk about.
Your first 10 customers will be research.
For The Faceless Million literally someone asked me during one my IG Q&A, "Can you make a more accessible PDF?" And then like 100 people replied to that story saying, "Yes, please let me know. Please let me know when you drop this." And in my head I was like say no more. The demand was there.
Boom the PDF was birthed.
It made me close to $3,000 yesterday alone.

Alhamdulillah. All praises to The Most High.
4) Turn the questions you find into your first content.
This is where it starts progressing from borrowing someone else’s audience to building your own.
Let’s say I spend a week inside Reddit and Facebook groups about interviews and I keep seeing the same questions:
“How do I answer tell me about yourself?”
“What should I say when they ask about salary?”
“How do I explain a gap on my resume?”
“What do I ask at the end of an interview?”
Okur.
Congratulations.
The internet just gave you your first 4 pieces of content.
Instead of sitting in front of Instagram thinking:
“What should I post today?”
You already know what people care about because you watched them ask for it.
So I would turn those questions into:
Posts
Reels
Threads
Carousels
Emails
Searchable videos
Longer guides
And each piece of content leads back to the same product.
This is where I think people tend do things backwards.
They try to invent 30 content ideas and then hope those ideas attract the right customer.
I would rather go find the customer first, listen to what they are already asking, and create content from that.
Demand → content → offer.
Not:
random content → hopefully followers → maybe eventually figure out what to sell.
The past year or so I’ve experimenting with trending Reddit threads that have a lot of likes and comments, and posting hooks based off that. Works great.
5) I would make 10 sales the first goal, not 10,000 followers.
If I am starting a business, I care a lot more about whether 10 people will give me money than whether 10,000 people will tap follow.
Because 10 buyers teach me something.
10,000 random followers might not.
And with a $27 product:
4 sales = $108
10 sales = $270
37 sales = basically $1,000
Again, when I did this with Eternah, I was using Facebook groups and Reddit at first because that was where the people I wanted were already hanging out, and I generated over $2,000 doing it.
I did not need a massive audience first.
What I needed was:
A useful product + the right people seeing it.
Just remember that when you create specific content and it doesn’t go viral.
My lowest performing posts usually gets me the most sales ;)
6) Then I would stop relying completely on borrowed audiences.
Facebook groups and Reddit can help you get started in the first week or so but obviously I would not want my entire business to depend on whether another person lets me post in their community forever.
Eventually, I want my own distribution.
My own Instagram.
My own email list.
My own audience.
My own customers.
Because there is a huge difference between having to go find buyers every single time you launch and being able to send one email to an audience that already trusts you.
That is where content starts compounding.
The first stage might look like:
Find existing communities → get first buyers → learn what they want.
Then:
Turn what you learned into content → build your own audience.
Then:
Build an email list → launch products to people who already know you.
And eventually:
Create product → send email → make sales.
That progression is what people mean when they talk about distribution.
You can absolutely make your first money online without already having it.
But once you understand how powerful distribution is, you want to start building your own as quickly as possible.
That is what I have spent years learning how to do especially without needing to make my face the entire brand.
How to create content people actually care about, build an audience around a specific problem, grow trust over time, and then connect that attention to something you can sell.
That is a huge part of what I put into The Faceless Million.
You do not need to start with an audience.
But I want to show you how to eventually build one you own.
And today is the last day Faceless Million is $27.
After today, it goes up to $49.
If you are starting from zero and want something accessible… that is actually who I made a lot of this for.

P.S. If you have zero followers, stop staring at the zero. Go find 10 people who already have the problem you solve. That is a much better place to start.
