Currently writing this letter after Fajr. It is beautiful here alhamdulillah.
I got to this life just with one hour after Fajr.

The seed works in the dark.
Before we get into today’s letter: We have over 6,249 registered for the Make Halal Money Online Challenge next week! For three days, I’m teaching you how to choose what to sell, create a digital product, build a faceless brand, use AI, and start getting customers.
Ok. Back to fixing your life.
Allah describes how He multiplies: The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills (2:261).
But look at where the seed starts. Underground. In the dark. Downwards first. Before anything moves up. Weeks of growth nobody can see.
Your first weeks after Fajr are the underground weeks. It will be heavy, invisible, and extremely difficult getting up and staying awake. Then one morning the negotiation with Shaytan isn’t there anymore.
Now the sun does work you could never.
The Prophet ﷺ made du'a for this exact window: O Allah, bless my ummah in their early mornings (Tirmidhi 1212). Sakhr al-Ghamidi, who narrated it, was a merchant. He took it literally, sent his caravans out only at the start of the day, and became wealthy.
But before I show you how to use the hour, you need to become honest about where your current hours are taking you.
Ask yourself:
If I repeated yesterday 365 more times, where would I be?
Would my relationship with Allah be stronger?
Would my body be healthier?
Would my finances be different?
Would the business exist?
Or would I simply be one year older with the same intentions?
These questions may make you uncomfortable and perhaps even disgusted with your life.
It happened to me when I did the audit years back.
1) Make it easy the night before
The hour after Fajr is decided the hour after Isha.
This is what I like doing:
– Phone charging away from your bed.
– Decide your one task.
– Open the document.
– Set out your workout clothes.
– Put the Qur’an where you will see it.
– Prepare your desk.
You should never wake up and spend 20 minutes deciding what to do.
2) Fast from information
Your phone is an environment and you live in whatever environment you enter first. Open it at 5:50am and you begin the day mentally obese full of trans fat from other people's lives, fears, wins, opinions, and emergencies, all before your own thoughts got a turn.
So the first hour is an information fast.
Just until your work is done.
3) Guard the first input
Everything that enters you shapes what comes out of you. Input builds the mind. The mind makes the decisions. The decisions become the day. Whoever reaches your mind first owns its direction. The best inputs? Qur'an, adhkar, du'a, and your own thoughts. Every day this rule wins, you win.
4) Build before you consume
Use the first hour to produce an output:
Write.
Plan.
Exercise.
Study.
Create the content.
Work on the business.
Handle the thing you've been avoiding.
The rule is: (1) Qur’an before content. (2) Creation before consumption. (3) Your priorities before everyone else’s.
And if you don't know what that output should be yet, that's exactly what I'm helping you with live one week from today during The Make Halal Money Online Challenge.
5) Reduce success to its smallest version
The hour does not have to be perfect. On difficult mornings, the minimum might be: recite one page, write one paragraph, walk for 10 minutes, send one email, work on the business for 15 minutes.
The Prophet ﷺ said the most beloved deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if small (Bukhari 6464).
The win is keeping the appointment even if its a “lesser version”.
Never miss the appointment.
6) Let Fajr be the signal
Every habit runs the same loop: environment, signal, behavior, reward.
For us?
Environment: Prepare the night before.
Signal: Finish Fajr.
Behavior: Begin the one important task.
Payoff: Breakfast, coffee, a walk, watching the sunrise, or just entering the day without guilt (huge mental win).
Run the loop until it's just who you are.
You become someone who says:
“I protect the hour after Fajr.”
“I don't consume before I create.”
At first those sentences sound off. Then they’re effort. Then they're habit. Then they're just facts about you just like how you brush your teeth every morning (I hope).
Remember this was never about forcing a perfect morning routine forever.
I'll see you better after Fajr.
مع حبي (with love)

P.S. You do not need eight free hours, the perfect business idea, or a completely different life to start. Begin with the hour you already have.
